i have to ask the question... re: OCs.. how do y'all feel about OCs based on legends/mythology, and also OCs based on fictional works out in the public domain (i.e. through the looking glass or the sherlock holmes series, etc.)?

potentially asking for reasons, but also bc it's often just a gray area in games that allow OCs but not canon OCs.
